Product Description
Recessed Light Conversion Kit
This recessed light conversion kit allows anyone to easily turn their recessed light into a pendant, ceiling fan, flush and semi-flush ceiling fixture or swag light. The kit includes all necessary hanging hardware, a socket assembly and a 7-3/4-inch diameter ceiling cap to hide the exposed edge of the recessed light. It works with Juno and Halo 5 and 6-inch new construction recessed housings, as well as other major brands. Handles a load of up to 50 pounds for fixture, 35 pounds for ceiling fans. Maximum wattage allowed is 660-watts. Can be used on slope ceiling that utilize standard housings, but will not work with sloped housings.

| Comments: | We used this product to turn one of our recessed "canned" lights into a space where we could hang a track light. The only tough part about it was getting holes through the sheet metal of the new product to install it. We had to pound a nail through to get the hole in. BUT, once installed, it was a cinch to install the light fixture that we wanted and the room looks great now! |

| Comments: | This is a straight forward can light conversion and for the price...you can't do better. However, the medallions are pretty cheap and I would recommend buying your own. Also, I got a bid from an electrician for the simple can light conversion and it was going to cost $100 per light. This project from start to finish will take a couple hours. I'm very pleased with this product and will recommend it to others. |

Unfortunately I had to return the light kit converters I had purchased because they were not rated to hold these heavy lights.This kit worked perfect and was not that difficult to use at all.
